Hello everyone!

I have 1988 Lincoln penny aluminum coated zink or copper. Is this coin genius or??
Hello, Bahram --

Yes, this is a genuine 1988 Lincoln cent. Beginning in 1982, the US Mint used copper-plated zinc planchets, or coin blanks, for the one-cent coin. What you're seeing on this well-worn coin is its exposed inner zinc core. This piece is worth face value.

All the best,
Josh
