I have 2 gold coins that say “California Gold 1/2” on one side and a head on the other with a “1853” under it. They are small. They are about the size of my nail as you can see in one photo. Anyone know how much they’re worth? Im having trouble finding them online.

There was private minting going on in California during the gold rush, and uncirculated specimens can be worth a few hundred dollars. Yours, however, in addition to being heavily worn, looks to be a gold-plated novelty copy. In that case it won't be worth anything.

That said, it's impossible to verify this with photos. If you have any doubts, take it to a licensed coin dealer so they can inspect and weigh it.
