I recently bought an 1873 US Silver Dollar (Sitting Liberty)
The back side has 'cc' stamped just above the ONE DOL.
Has anyone heard of these being counterfeited? Sorry for what may sound like a dumb question but I have just recently gotten into picking up the odd coin when I see them and when I looked up the collectors value I was somewhat surprised on its value, if this is correct
