Thank you for the clearer image. I can see that there is doubling, but unfortunately it is a type of doubling error called machine doubling, which doesn't result from a doubled image on the die (a doubled die) but rather the die striking the coin twice. I've attached an image of an authentic doubled die so you can see the differences between a 1969-S doubled die and your coin.
I hope this is instructive... Great work in catching the doubling in the date -- better luck that next time it's a doubled die variety you find!
