Here is another 1951 Quarter and it has a Dever mint mark when research says it should not have one.

Hi, Annjeanette --

A 1940 Washington quarter without a mintmark was made at the Philadelphia Mint. In 1951, the Denver Mint made more than 35.3 million Washington quarters. Here's more info on both the 1940 and 1951 quarters:

1940 Washington quarters: https://coinvalues.com/washington-quarter/1940
1951 Washington quarters: https://coinvalues.com/washington-quarter/1951

Josh
