    Your penny is heavily worn and it's hard to even make out the date. You can peruse our Wheat Penny info pages for a better idea, but in that condition it's probably not worth much unless it's one of the rare specimens.

  • Circulated 1948 Wheat Pennies can be worth between 5 and 20 cents depending on condition.

    If by "no state stamp" you are referring to the lack of a mintmark, that would mean it was minted in Philadelphia.

  • Not sure where you have been reading but indeed, the mintmarks on Morgan dollars should be on the reverse between the "D" and the "O" in "DOLLAR". That is below the wreath, where the mintmarks were placed.
