I have a 1942 wheat back penny. It has no other letter under the date ie d,c or anything. Is that common?
Hi, Annette --

You have a 1942 Philadelphia (no mintmark) Lincoln cent. These are common and you can find their value here: https://coinvalues.com/wheat-pennies/1942

I am new to your site and did not know how to ask you a question.. I have a 1942 Wheat Penny and the "We" found "In God We Trust" is out of line I'm attaching a picture now. I'd love to know if it is worth anything as we have fallen on hard times.
Thank you so much for your time!

Please let me know if the picture did not attach.
My apologies,

Hi, Rebecca --

I'm afraid the image of your 1942 wheat cent did not come through. Would you kindly try again please?

Thank you so much,
Josh
