I am trying to find out if my 1942 wheat penny has any significant value. I was reading and thought maybe it has the incomplete 9 in the date so it possibly has value.

Hi Andrew. It is difficult to tell from a photo if the incomplete date is from an error or due to wear. Only a coin appraiser in-person would be able to give you more insight on this. The coin looks heavily worn and 1942 Wheat Pennies are not scarce, so we doubt it would be worth more than ten or twenty cents unless a professional can prove that it is a rare error coin.
