Hi, What a great website! I'm new to the forum and penny collecting and this site is a God send. I have this 1944 S Wheat Penny that is copper on the front and some other metal on the back. It was also cut out incorrectly on the lower edge. Can anyone tell me if this is a junk coin, or does it have value. Thanks for your help.

Laughlin, the penny looks to have suffered some damage rather than mint errors, and the reverse side discoloration is most likely corrosion due to exposure to an aggressive element.
