I have came across a penny with a bit of ddo and it also has a circle groves cut into it looks perfect and and a set depth but idk if it would be mint or post mint
Brady, the picture you uploaded is of the reverse side although you mentioned a double die obverse in your post. The image is a bit blurry to be able to notice any double die effects. What year is it? Despite being modern and abundant, Union Shield cents can be worth a few dollars with a double die error.
