THANK YOU for the photos! I'd rather receive more than less, so this is very helpful. This 1893-O Barber half dollar seems to have suffered the same fate as your 1940 Washington quarter... A punch to the surface. It's a scarcer issue... I'd peg its value at around $15 to $20, more or less, even in this condition.
