I have an 1989P US Quarter that looks to be overly coppered (?)
Has a coppery tint on front and obverse and the edge/rills show heavy copper content.
Any value to this type of mint mistake?
Hi, Snickersnax --

This quarter actually appears to have some nice toning, which gives it that coppery color. Some collectors appreciate toning like this on coins. Unfortunately, it's hard to say how much your coin is worth because it would need to be evaluated in-person and under magnification to determine its grade, origin of the toning, etc.

This is definitely a keeper! Nice find!

Best wishes,
Josh
