Arlan Reber Jr commented on this post about 4 years agoI have a 1942 no mint Mark penny that’s unusual to say the least. I’ve searched till I could search no more and found nothing. On the wheat side of the penny the first 3 letters in AMERICA are missing. They’re just not there. Haven’t been rubbed of in any way and you can tell it just was never there. So it says UNITED STATES OF RICA. Does anyone have any info?
