    I was looking through an old box of coins and came across a 1944 penny that looks like it has a secret compartment in it. Is this a spy penny? Something else? Any ideas? It looks like one side folds around the other side. there is one area...
    I was looking through an old box of coins and came across a 1944 penny that looks like it has a secret compartment in it. Is this a spy penny? Something else? Any ideas? It looks like one side folds around the other side. there is one area that is torn up and that is what caught my finger and got me to take a closer look at it. Please look at the photos. Any thoughts would be welcome. Value?

    Hello, I recently came across an old box of coins, and while looking through it, I came across a very interesting penny. Please let me know what you may know about it. It is a 1944 copper penny, but it appears to come apart. Spy coin? Any ideas? Value?
