We have recently been recipients of a significant coin collection. At this point we have cataloged, summarily, 150 rolls of nickels, both Canadian and American, the first 50 of which are 1945 or earlier. These are complete 40 or more coin rolls. And then another further 150 rolls of pennies, once again both American and Canadian the first 80 rolls being 1945 or earlier and being 50 coins or more per roll. We have yet more to catalog, however at this stage we have more than 6000 coins to evaluate. The collector has commented on the rolls with their anticipated grade and in some cases comments re value. What we wish to know is, what do you suggest is the best process for us to liquidate the coins and recover the most value possible without investing years of time? We could readily provide a list of the coins(by roll) and commentary on an excel spread sheet if interested.
